Friday 17th, was our last M-commerce class. After it, we had lunch at Ken Richards and KTV. The Professor treated us, she is so generous. We sang a lot of songs, but it was not as crazy as last time with all the exchange students. I guess the Chinese style of KTV is diff, but the other style is more fun! Tung, Mirjam, Tony and I went to watch Mr and Mrs Smith in Gongguan after KTV. We walked around Gongguan looking for food that we wanted to eat for a while, and bumped into Stanley. We finally found an Indian curry place, and we just sat there making funny faces and taking pics all through dinner time. I think we annoyed the restaurant owners, by laughing so loudly. =P
Saturday was the IMBA dinner fairwell party at Zee Live House. Mark drove us there and I met many IMBA students, but I don't know them because I only had 1 IMBA class. I met Samul (IMBA director) and his family. He kept talking to me abotu his son and asking me how old I was, =P. (Lets hope its not another one of those 'parents/aunties/grandmas/ wanting to hook me up with their sons/nephews" thing. =) So I ended up chatting with his eldest son Tim, for a bit with Tung, but then had to get back to my seat. Samul left his seat just to let his son chat with us. After dinner I had to take the MRT to Taipei Main Station and then the train to Tao Yuen to meet my Aunt. Then we went to my Grandaunts home, chatted all night, and woke up at 1130. We got to take a look at my Grandaunts rooftop area where she planted all these little plants. Lunch was at a Dim Sum place, its quite a delicacy to have Cantonese food here. It was so yummy, and the bamboo shoots were good too =) We went to Wulai after lunch to see some waterfalls and soem cable cars. We baught some souvenirs that were handicrafts from the aboriginal peoples there. I made it back to church around 6pm, and Tung came with Hugo. I am so happy to see Tung there. Although he said he only came because I asked him to, I will keep praying for him. We headed back to school for Diana's fairwell dinner, only to miss it ebcause we were late. Instead we grabbed some fast crepes with filling, and just chatted outside with our bubble teas.
Monday, Tung Peter and I had lunch with Jason (OIP office). He quit because he has to study for his GMAT and then he wants to study in the States. We had Thai food in Gongguan and it was sooooo yummy!. Diana dropped by the MRT station close by and then we said goodbye to her. I went home to study and then met up with Jimmy to meet Tung's friend from Finland that just arrived from Thailand. Kat is this really cute blond girl.
Tuesday, Studied in the day time. At night went to meet Sean because he invited me to dinner with his friends. The place had Jay Chou's signature on the wall, I guess this is the closest I will be to Jay Chou =P sad... I didnt get to meet him... hahaha... His friends Jerry was very nice and kept chatting with me. The challenge of the night was for me to speak in Chinese. I think I passed, because I could keep up the conversation, but just slowly. =) Sean scootered me to Nanjing Donglu because I needed to check that night whether my CD was able to be used for me to sing to. It turns out, it wont work, but I already paid. So, we had to go the Shilin to get my refund because I paid there. He was really nice to take me there right then, I didnt expect that. The ride didnt take too long either. After he helped me explain my situation, we left and he drove me to the enarest MRT station where I subwayed back. He has to work tomorrow morning.
