My weirdness in writing...

It's been a crazy few weeks.

First it was prep for Brothers wedding, and finally the actual day went pretty well. Even though I totally played Canon in D wrong during the wedding ceremony, the rest of the day was really beautiful. There was lots of smiling for pictures and watching my sister in law present tea to elders. I guess I was a useless bridesmaid, because one of the other sisters did most of the work in making sure the brides belongings were in check. Wow, there is so much work in planning a wedding. Maybe that's how wedding planners make lots of money.

Then the second day after the wedding us 3, head off to Tokyo Japan. It was an interesting trip, because I was supposedly the tourguide (I was the tourguide that ended up taking a one-day tour of Tokyo by myself) I just took them to places in these travel books. And me, inheriting my fathers genes, took them to famous places to eat. I guess I couldnt take them to many intersting places, considering they have been to Japan 2 times already. I guess they just wanted to rest and eat and shop =)... I end up buying some expensive clothes, cuz everything is so expensive compared to HK. Overall, I just took extra long to understand the JR versus Metro system each trip on the subway, and may have taken longer routes, but never got completely lost. =) Bro and Carol asked me if I wanted to go to Hot springs with them, but I politely declined. Who really wants to soak naked with relatives? and they already say I got a big tummy with clothes on =P... I heard they had a great time though because the place had no visitors in the morning and they had the whole place to themselves and could even soak together in a private pool. I wanna try next time =)

The last day in Japan was hectic. We BARELY made our plane. We have lunch and then walk around the streets. We see nice spoons, that we were supposed to buy for my aunt. So we go crazy and pick our lots, it comes out to 8000 yen, and we thought that we could buy more and have tax free on credit card. But the little store doesnt accept credit cards, only cash. So we think about it and believe that we can buy our ride back to the airport by credit card. We purchase the spoons for 8000 out of the 12000 yen in my wallet. We go for soem ice cream at this ice cream city and eat some dumplings there. We pack up and get our stuff from the hotel and head to the station by JR rail. When we arrive to buy the airport tickets, they say ONLY CASH. We count our yen, and we had like 2900. OMG thats like we were missing 1 CDN dollar. And a stupid thing was I actually ripped one of the 1000 yen bills entirely in HALF when i took it out of my wallet to buy the JR rail tickets at the beginning of the ride. Winnie is Smart~ but seriously, how can money be so easily ripped??? So they run outside to look for banks and I just sit like a bum at the subway station with all their bags. I wanted to just act poor and write a note saying I need 100Yen. They come back with nothing, but just then we see some people with baggage and speaking chinese. We tell them whats up and we exchange some HK dollars for 500 Yen and thank them and run like crazy. We catch some sort of subway and make it to the airport at 5:15, meanwhile our plane leaves at 620pm. We bud the line in checking in and go through security. But the immigration lines were like 25 ppl long each. It was like 5:30 already. They said the gate will clost at 5:45, we get out of the immigration just at 5:45. And my brother ran first, I guess hoping to make it and give me some extra running time. OMG I am so unfit. We do make it really just in time. Good thing we only had carry on baggage. Really thank God that we made it, because I didn't want to be stranded in Japan and waste money to get back homes. That was the hectic exciting thing that happened in Japan, and the moral of the story is BRING MORE CASH and DONT RELY ON CREDIT CARDS!!

Two days after the trip, my parents head back to Canada. I miss them dearly. Gotta teach Mom how to use WEBCAM soom =)
